I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

TCO takes great care of their employees, trainings are phenomenal, good pay, great benefits.

    Cons

As in all luxury retail companies you always have a couple of bad eggs in management. One of our Sales manager's is awful! But as long as you have a great Director, you'll enjoy your job for the most part.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have a management team that reflects your vision and is in sync with your management style. Management needs consistency.

I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Tiffany attracts and retains the best talent in the industry and their business practices foster a positive work environment. Best work-life balance in retail. HR and Organizational Effectiveness are partners in your development and growth.

    Cons

Economic necessity resulted in a reduction in force (RIF) and elimination of my position, and hundreds of others. Even during such a difficult time, Tiffany was exceedingly fair and respectful handing the layoff. The "Con" is that even great things may come to an end, but you can be confident that if faced with the same fate the company will do the right thing.

    Advice to Management

The Tiffany experience starts from the top. Mike Kowalski set the standard for excellence, respect and humility that other companies can only try to emulate. I hope his fine example continues today.

Work environment is pleasant. Managers are great at running their team. Everyone is a team and treats one another with respect. The offices are beautiful and clean. The product and name speaks for itself.

    Cons

There are not enough permanent positions opened. Growth seems slower than expected but the economy has a lot to do with it. PARKING IS A HUGH CON......
