    ProsIn Toll Architecture, the work environment at corporate is very good. They take care of their employees, there is a lot of firm culture, and there is plenty of room to grow to some degree.

    They really support young staff to pursue professional registration.

    Consyou are essentially pushing out a product that you will never see again. you are also a part of a very long assembly line, just upstream from the TIS facility.

    Also, the "third floor" only cares about numbers. There is some new stuff happening, but its slow and regurgitated.

    ProsGreat experience in learning the commercial real estate market in a large scale environment. People are more than helpful in answering any and all questions you may have.

    ConsThey will keep you more than busy. Even though the job can be quite enjoyable you will be asked to do much beyond your job description. Be prepared to work, and work hard. Not a negative!

    Advice to Senior ManagementI think management does a great job of running Toll Brothers. They will expose you to a number of experiences just a short time in.

    Toll Brothers provides the best training for our future Builders

    ProsYou are given freedom to perform, there is not a doubt in my mind that this was the best experience I have obtained in my career. All employees are trained extensively in the the Toll method of doing business. I found that each "graduating class" of employees had a sense of belonging similar to that of a Fraternity or sorority, this contributes in my opinion to the success of the organization . Each team member understands the importance of our business model from the get go, time is not wasted on trying to figure out how the system worked.

    Advice to Senior ManagementGet back to your core strategy, Our project managers were the key to our success keep it that way. Time to start grooming the next generation of senior management current senior level is getting long in the tooth time to let go.

    ProsThe fact that the company treats you like you run your own business. It's up to you how much you make, and up to you how you succeed or fail. I'm very happy with my job. I really haven't found negatives to this job. Maybe the fact that you sit in a model all day. I mean Real Estate as a whole is down, but Toll Brothers is awesome. Perhaps the fact that we are a little behind the 8 ball in terms of being a "green" builder. But for the most , this is a fantastic company for anyone wanting to work for a professional builder of dreams.

    ProsGreat financial strength, excellent systems, able to make quick decisions to market conditions, and the best employees in the business.

    ConsA job with Toll does not come without sacrifices. Be prepared to work to standard not time (i.e. work until the job is done and done right, not 9-5).

    Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to be attentive to how they are compensating their middle management teams. Middle management has kept the company afloat during the down turn and will be the driving force behind Toll Brothers' successful emergence into the "New Normal".
