    Some freedom in the field. Good coworkers

    Cons

    Numbers driven. Company has made great progress in efficiency. Not good enough for upper mgmt. No 401K match since 2009.

    There are some nice people to work with, especially the admin and HR.

    Cons

    There is a high turnover rate and lack of stability. If you want to leave, someone next in line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stick with managers for for than a few months. Causes disruption with turnover.

    Its a revolving door, management is in a descending spiral.Look for work elsewhere.

    work on your own, some decent people. Not much else. Work here a while if you have to, but move on quickly

    Cons

    sales are in charge of everything, no opportunity for advancement. NO TRAINING.

    Pros

    Very structured sales process and work environment can give new younger employees a good first step into business and how to cold call

    Cons

    Turnover is extremely high. Monthly quotas are very hard to hit, especially when good accounts have already been cherry picked from your territory by other sales reps. Good sales people who land a nice account also risk losing that business to more senior sales people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop hiring friends for management jobs that obviously have no clue what they are doing and cant help newer people in their daily functions

    Pros

    This started out very well as a job after my last employment, the training was good but they did not continue to invest in their employees

    Cons

    This was absolutely the worst company to work for. They don't treat their employees well during or after employment. They screwed me out of well earned money in commissions during my employment there and did not pay me my severance after I submitted my two weeks and was told I could leave then. They do not do honest business with their customers, I would advise anyone to not do business with them or work for them.

    Horrible! Base pay is 30K...its not worth the hassle...they say you can make money if you stay for a few years

    The initial training is decent..the only positive thing is that you truly find out more about yourself and how much you can handle it when life gets rough.

    Cons

    No leads given, horrible base pay, They tell you how amazing and easy it is but its not. They say that you can make money after several years but for 30K, noone can survive on that income.

    More base pay!

    Pros

    The Toshiba product line compared to the competition is pretty good. The service team does a pretty decent job and the customer service ladies that answer the phone for service calls are very good. The admin staff are pleasant as well.

    Cons

    I can only speak of the Carolina's division for Toshiba. As a company Toshiba seeks out and purchases independent copier dealerships and they become corporate owned locations. The management is typically left in place as is the culture. It's amazing a company the size of Toshiba does not put into place some type of District Manager that makes sure each area is operating in a respectable way. They are ran like a used car dealership and actually this is an insult to the used car dealerships. The average sales rep in the Carolina's group is less than 12 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Until you change your ways you are going to continue to have sales turnover. Don't encourage your teams to rape a customer even if they can and know that a fair margin and ethical account management will ensure repeat customers.

    all the stuff they tell you to take the job!

    Cons

    everything that happens afterwards. 30 days into the position you'll realize everything was a lie! They lie to their customers and you have to make up for the awful customer service.

    Retire, transfer and move! You are ruining the company, you are abusive, you are liars and unprofessional.
