ProsEnjoyed the work and the technology.

ConsEmployees did not seem to be valued as much as consultants. I was an expense...just a price.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on the long-term future of the company...not just short-term profits for shareholders.

Overall a place that I enjoyed working at and would go back to if the right opportunity ever arose.

Workflow Coordinator (Former Employee) Houston, TX

ProsSome of the best people I've ever worked with. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and a great source for information. I still keep in contact with a few of them.

ConsMost managers are disconnected with their employees and do not communicate effectively with their subordinates. Job security is unstable.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn to connect with your employees and do not favor people you know that have zero experience for others that deserve better.

    People really do come first.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Houston, TX

ProsGreat mentality of personnel, very team driven, very little administrative overhead (timesheets, status reports) to get in the way of productively achieving goals; management supports any time required for personal/family issues that may need to be resolved.

ConsA bit silo'd in departments, some 'us vs. them' goes on; lack of standard processes throughout creates redundancy in efforts from time to time; uncertainty over future with restructuring has affected morale.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Best company I have ever worked for.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Houston, TX

ProsSalary, benefits, compressed work week (off at 11 a.m. every Friday), facilities, friendliness of employees, nice location, private office space, paid parking, the company is interesting and exciting.

ConsManagers have heavy travel schedules making access to them difficult. And what does that mean for the average employee? Employee performance evaluations suffer, relationships suffer, communication suffers.

Advice to Senior ManagementReduce travel for managers of individual contributors.

somewhat interesting, not challenging, and frustrating at time due to slow moving management

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Houston, TX

Proshigher that average salaries, great benefits, pension, half day friday, new employee vacation based on experience and not on time with company

Conssomewhat interesting, not challenging, and frustrating at time due to slow moving management, salaries higher than average for experience that is lower than average, practically no accountability, almost no inter/intra departmental communications despite being on the same project

Advice to Senior Managementlisten to your employees, director level and below managers need to put more faith in their employees and create an environment of risk and reward, and challenge your employees by putting more trust in them which will build trust and make them more accountable

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
