    Pros

There is opportunity to develop and progress both within department and into different parts of the business. I have been able to develop during my time here and I feel supported by management. I am able to work flexibly when necessary- which is really valuable.

    Cons

The company seems to change frequently- which is fine but it can be difficult to keep track of the changes so I think communication could be better.

    Pros

Friendly workplace and nice office environment. Flexible working arrangements can be made, which helps me to juggle other commitment. Professional development and mentoring from team members which has helped me establish a good solid base for a long term career.

    Cons

Structure of the business is often changing which takes some getting used to but it also opens up new opportunities for professional development.

    Pros

The people who work here make it a great place to be. I have great relationships with my manager and team. I get plenty of flexibility, autonomy and support in my role. I have had good career development having progressed through several roles. There is plenty of change but that provides plenty of challenge and development that keeps things interesting.

    Cons

There are ups and downs as in any job. Sometimes it can be hard to make things happen when people from different parts of the business don't talk to each other. There can be an over reliance on emails when often picking up the phone would be quicker and easier.

    Pros

I have enjoyed great personal and professional growth whilst at Tribal. Flexible working is encouraged wherever possible. Increasing internationalisation of the business has given the chance to travel overseas and gain exposure to the challenges of global companies.

    Cons

The business has experienced lots of change, which has all been for the better, but sometimes sets other business improvement plans and projects back. Career development is not very structured, many people get promoted and there are opportunities if you want them but don't expect it to be given to you on a plate - it requires a certain amount of proactivity and tenacity.

    Pros

    - Management are excellent, they trust employees and give a lot of support when needed. - Colleagues are also very nice, a good and postive atmosphere overall - Flexitime - Can work from home - Overtime available if wanted - Agile implemented properly (mostly) - 9/12 on the Joel test

    Cons

    - Some very mediocre employees - Code base isn't as nice as it should be - Unit tests exist, but writing them is always harder than it should be - A little bit too much bureaucracy for an agile company - Stories aren't always as well defined as one would like - A promise of lots of on the job training has not been fulfilled

    Advice to Management

Improve the quality of the developers, either through more training or better hiring practices.

    Pros

There are opportunities to learn from seniors. Company is growing fast in the current climate which is a positive. However recently there have been more uncertainities.

    Cons

Recruitment has been frozen recently. Not much benefits are available. There is lack of transperancy in the way projects are allocated.

    Advice to Management

Manageent should strive to help the new comers specially when they do not have experience of working in this sector.

    Pros

In a nutshell I'd say the best reasons are diversity and scale of opportunities available to even fairly junior staff. Also fast growing company, rapidly gaining market share in a number of different vertical sectors. Also work primarily with the public sector, so there is a social benefit to most of their projects. Its size can be considered in some respects to be an advantage, clients percieve us as helpful and dedicated and non-arrogant, which is a real differentiator from some of the other players, like Accenture and Mckinsey.

    Cons

Still fairly small, lacks scale compared to some of the sector giants Mckinsey e.t.c

    Advice to Management

Communicate more, and do speak to consultants in management speak, they find it insulting because it's the same stuff they spout when trying to distract clients.
