I worked at Triumph Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Triumph Group has a wonderful health benefits program for employees inclusive of families. Time off is great with the industry average paid holidays and earned vacation time. You have great opportunities to grow your career here.

    Cons

You must take advantage of the new online personal review system. Failure to do this can be career ending or at the least halting. Work life balance can be difficult at some business units if your position objectives are not clear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick with portfolio growth objectives, continue to invest into the personnel and facilities you already own.

I have been working at Triumph Group full-time

    Pros

great benefits and amenities; acceptable work life balance and good coworkers for the most part.

    Cons

One of the least diverse places I have ever worked. The company is stuck in "we have always done it this way", which is fine in manufacturing 20 years ago. Now, employees have to be nimble and amenable to change. Not so much here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Embrace diversity, nto only just finding people who look different, but those who act different as well. This will allow your conglomeration of companies to accept and weather change well.

I have been working at Triumph Group

    Pros

Large company that has aquired many smaller companies. Provides large comany backing while at the same time leaving those companies to do what they do best with minimal interferance.

    Cons

Not much communication between individual sites. I would expect cheaper benefits from such a large company. Raises were small this year, but that was expected for many companies 2009.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership at our site is very good. Making daily tasks more autonomous would be beneficial but its not a huge issue.
