I have been working at TrustCo Bank Corp NY full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

This job is perfect for anyone while they're in college. It pays better than minimum wage, you get vacation and sick time and paid holidays off. It's pretty basic, if you can run a cash register than you can be a teller.

    Cons

Sometimes the company is a little too focused on things that are unobtainable. Technology is very outdated. While the pay is better than minimum wage other banks are paying 2-4 dollars more an hour to do the same job.

I have been working at TrustCo Bank Corp NY

    Pros

Very few layers of management. It's a lean and mean company.

    Cons

It's so lean and mean, sometimes the lack of manpower interferes with progress.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be too afraid to add manpower occasionally...even if it's temporary.
