I have been working at Tullett Prebon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great work life balance, pretty decent pay, plenty of vacation days

    Cons

No raises, bonuses have been shrinking every year, little to no growth opportunity, probably downsizing soon

I have been working at Tullett Prebon for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Benefit days given are great.

    Cons

Back office employees are under appreciated. Front office receives bonuses while they tell back office that the business is not doing well enough to at least get the same bonus from prior years. Management only cares of the work more than your safety. During Hurricane Sandy and a huge winter storm, management was desperate to get employees in although they were not in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the moral of the back office employees.

I have been working at Tullett Prebon

    Pros

    The laid back work environment.

    Cons

There is a lack of career opportunities and growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked for Tullett Prebon Information. A subsidiary of the well recognized Inter-Dealer Broker known as Tullett Prebon. I can't speak for how the rest of the departments work, but I do know that the TP information side could have communicated better. It's really sad when you work within a department that has never had an actual department meeting. Makes you question how the heads value passing on information to their employees. Ironically their goal is to provide transparent data yet lack transparency within their own organization.

I have been working at Tullett Prebon full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flat hierarchy so good access and interaction with senior staff. Generally a good place to work with nice people.

    Cons

Constant cost cutting and pay freezes has lowered morale significantly, with many good members of staff leaving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut out the nepotism and look after the good loyal staff that the company has but improving their basic salaries and making career progression and reality.

I have been working at Tullett Prebon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Reasonable work/life balance outside of management.
    No shortage of drinking buddies!
Probably wonderful if your in the right clique

    Cons

    Highly secretive management.
    Below market pay
    No career development.
    Blame culture

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's very difficult to change things in a firm, especially when market conditions may not allow you the flexibility to address all of my cons. However, the highly secretive culture of all levels of management is something that can easily be addressed. I am reading about redundancies in newspapers and hearing nothing formal internally. Of course rumour mill is in full swing and it’s distracting and unnecessarily worrying.

As I've highlighted, I'm not in the right clique and someone who is would probably give Tulletts a glowing review.
