    Pros

Company at my specific branch were all very friendly and helpful with basic day to day tasks. Nice new office and they give you a car for your travels.

    Cons

If you don't know something, good luck figuring it out cause there will be no help from the management. They provided minimal support and education on the the products you are asked to sell.

    Advice to Management

Start the new people off with ride alongs, making sure that those who are selling your products know what they are talking about.

Good and busy very big company with a lot of needs to be met which means more jobs. Awesome workspace!

    Cons

busy with many changes. Sometimes the wishlist is too grand. many times there are too many short cuts (processes) taken when developing new systems and that could lead to a of loop workarounds

I have been working at Tyco

    Pros

Like everything it would depend on who you work with and for whom. I have been very lucky great group of people to work with. I can see in the long run it would be a very lucrative position. - uncapped commissions lots of career advancement IF you're willing to move.

    Cons

Long sales cycle, takes a while before you get running. Management is really hung up on meeting quota's and pressure to meet them, not really caring about the current customer as much as gaining new business. Way too many parts and pieces, more is not better in this regard.

    Advice to Management

More attention needs to be addressed to existing customers and making our current customers happy then just getting new accounts and selling security products.
