    Pros

Great money for part time. Allows work from home. Offers benefits to part time employees. Is good to their employees.

    Cons

Little room for growth or advancement, no sign of raise or incentives

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A raise to employees with good sales numbers or extra bonuses would be nice

I have been working at U-Haul

    Pros

Pay is pretty decent for what I consider a very easy job...Making only 3 reservations per hour will get you $15.90 per hour! Company is very flexible with giving you time off if you can find someone to work your shift...You need to make a certain amount of reservations per hour to make your bonus, but pretty easy to do and for the most part management does not bother you...

    Cons

A LOT of glitches in their system...takes awhile to figure out how to get around them, but once you do, it's okay...sometimes you will get some unhappy people, but that's to be expected...More nice ones than not...

    Pros

Like to help people, supervisor experience, many years of Customer Service, four years of Call Center experience, Customer/ employee friendly.

    Cons

Every call from a Customer is a different call, and the challenge is to make them happy with their resolutions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advice but just something I've seen would always help, and that is to never stop learning. Thank you.

    I have been working at U-Haul part-time

    Pros

Experience in many things that will make and develop you as a versatile employee. Decent entry level pay. Friendly co-workers, customer's are generally mood lifting with jokes and well wishes, experience. Mostly Friendly Texans

    Cons

Lack of bonuses (at my location at least), you may make the same with your great efforts as an employee who isn't as equipped as you, does as much work as you, or works as hard as you do. Lack of training at some locations will hinder you from optimum performance and knowledge of job. Raises once every a light-year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employee appreciation, evaluation of staff/management occasionally, bonuses to those who are tied to great reviews and satisfactory performance.

I have been working at U-Haul full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, flexible work schedule, challenging environment.

    Cons

Salary not as high as it should be for the amount of work expected, customers can be ruthless with their expectations and get very angry because they are moving and stressed out, the IT department always makes computer updates that crash and take down the computers at the worst possible times (especially just before the summer moving season!).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall management is good if you follow policies and procedures and your store is profitable.

    Pros

Flexibility, great for college students, a place to make a buck but not a living.

    Cons

Opportunities for advancement are very limited. If you do advance, it will be demanding at the sacrifice of family time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of your people who work the hardest - this means monetarily.
