    Pros

It's a global company with a local, community feel. Senior management is approachable. Contractors are rarely treated as such, very welcoming. Challenging, exciting work.

    Cons

Long days, expect 10 hour days, minimum.

    Advice to Management

Maybe just remember the little guys a bit more.

    Pros

Job stability, as long as you're on the bread winning sales/service side. Competitive benefits package with decent vacation and sick days, several health plans to chose from. Vision and dental plans are good also, plus optional life, accidental death and long term disability insurance. Predictable 9-5 hours with no weekend work.

    Cons

You deal with lots of politics, like any large corporation. The guys at the top make the big bucks while we get poor bonuses and zero salary increases year after year. The company doesn't reward people who get the job done, rather you have to know who to kiss up to. Finally, they take a socialist approach to salary increases bringing the rookie salaries up to the level of senior employess, so that everyone's at the same level. A lot of BS but it would be the same or worse at another financial firm.

    Advice to Management

Reward employees for tangible actions, rather than brown nosing.

    Pros

Very friendly people. You can talk to anyone and usually get a nice response and some good advice. Great name to have on your resume.

    Cons

Very boring and tedious work. Manager made it seem like her work was so hard and stressful when in reality she was more of a secretary than a financial services associate.
