    Pros

I had an incredible time working at the University of Los Angeles calling center in Westwood Village. It was truly a fun experience.

    Cons

I don't have any downsides to share while working at the University of California, Los Angeles. It was always fun to call alumni

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice to management - I think that there were some difficulties meeting budget requirements, but that isn't their fault at all.

    Pros

Flexible working schedule. There are a lot of great PIs to work with if you choose the academic career path.

    Cons

Relatively low pay for the postdoc. The health and dental insurance is just soso. The administration people in the department are generally low efficient.

    Pros

Fun, easy going experience. Depends on your professor. In my case, assignments were graded online, so I was able to work on it at home.

    Cons

No real cons. Just do not sign up to be a grader for a class or professor you do not like.

    Advice to Management

The Staff Personnel Office (the one in charge of hiring) was very inadequate. They emailed the wrong person with the hiring details, and only after over 1 month and by my own action did they correct their mistake.
