    Pros

Since this is a part-time job, but it still offers good salary and flexible schedule to determine your own working schedule. Besides, the it provides a discount when you bought things, etc.

    Cons

Need to constantly communicate and keep in touch with professors and TAs, but some of them seldom appear in their office hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Generally they are all good.

I worked at UCLA part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The best part is you're working with motivated people who want to achieve very high goals and this helps feel you focused and determined to go well in your job and in the future.

    Cons

It can seem overwhelming being around so many good looking Bruins and so many smart people. But come on. Is that really a con?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at UCLA full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Really depends on which department you end up working for. The one I was at was a relaxed/flexible environment with friendly and supportive coworkers. Work-life balance was great -- rarely had to stay long hours. Benefits were awesome! A great place to start your first job or work for as a career. Being at UCLA is always exciting because change is always happening.

    Cons

Working for a huge public entity means you are subjected to the whims of $$ coming from up top. I've seen positions cut or consolidated. Pay grades/promotions is rather strict, but at least you know what you are getting yourself into.
