    I worked at UPS

    Pros

I enjoyed UPS. The people are great, the pay is fair, and the benefits were good. Most managers really cared about their staff.

    Cons

Sometimes there is office drama. It is difficult to progress in one's career because there are just so many employees. It is easy to get stuck.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please keep your eyes on opportunities to grow your employees. Also, be cognizant of office politics so it does not create a dreary work environment.

I have been working at UPS part-time

    Pros

I have not been there long enough to receive any benefits but they say that the benefits are good They are always concerned about safety before anything

    Cons

The work is very steady and consistent. There are packages you load that are over 70 pounds

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to the managers is to make sure your employees are not without liquids as it very hard work and any member could get dehydrated fairly quickly.

    I worked at UPS full-time

    Pros

Excellent corporate culture, great place to learn about the private sector and launch your career.

    Cons

The particular program I was in wasn't really set up to help you advance within the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People who come into this program are extremely competitive, and more of them would be interested in staying with UPS, if more of an effort was made to help them find places within the company, and keep them onboard.
