    Pros

    Scenery always changes, opportunity to work with the public, pride of doing something positive for the greatest country in the world!

    Cons

    Having to move or have your coworkers move, every few years.

    Pros

    You will be challenged on a constant basis in almost every aspect of your life. However, if you can adapt to military life you are capable of anything.

    Cons

    Permanent Change of Station move every 3-4 years. Being underway up to months at a time. Very competitive environment.

    As an intern, the Coast Guard provided real life experience with working in the military

    Cons

    The only con was that the internship was unpaid, but that is to be expected

    Keep the internship program the way it is.

    Focus on ALL core missions and make changes gradually

    New building, great IT services, great staff

    Cons

    Transit is awful, no parking, isolated from the community, very limited lunch options.

    Pros

    You feel like one big family, the healthcare and dental is great, 30 paid days leave a year, awesome places to live.

    Cons

    Can't really think of any, long hours sometimes but if it involves saving a life it can't be considered a con. Its the best feeling ever successfully helping someone in distress.

    Advice to Management

    Tell your crew good job when they do a good job, it keeps the morale high.
