My team is a delightful group with which to work. Small but efficient--every one of us is working toward the same goal--to deliver on time but not sacrifices product quality.

I worked at US Foods as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

I love the people-oriented culture and great corporate values. People I've worked with are all super nice. It's more than a workplace but a big family to me.

    Cons

The upcoming merger with Sysco may bring about quite a lot of uncertainties. Many people chose to leave the company before anything unexpected could happen to them.

I worked at US Foods full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Numbers don't lie. They call it work for a reason. Lots of education on products.

    Cons

Lots of change in Corporate structure with more drastic change coming shortly. Always trying to reinvent the wheel which wasn't broken till upper mgt. said so. Again, numbers don't lie!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good Luck and God Bless the people tossed away after years of undying loyalty. You should think more of them than your "golden parachute". It's obsene what you all take from the sweat of employees backs! Thank Goodness for Division Presidents to buffer employees from the top.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
