    Pros

    A once in a lifetime experience where hard work has the potential to pay off. Not just another branch of the service but a true brotherhood where friendships are lifelong.

    Cons

    A branch of the federal government, the Corps is subject to budget issues and politics that no one can overcome.

    Advice to Management

    Ensure that all Marines receive the counseling they deserve to ensure understanding of assigned tasks.

    The USMC is the world's elite fighting force that develops young individuals into well-disciplined leaders capable of accomplishing any task.

    Cons

    If you are not a self-starter, you will not last in the USMC.

    Learn more trades in 2 years than most do in 4.
    Always on the move.

    Always on the move.
    Low pay, a lot of work.
    Hours vary. Sometimes 12-14 hour shifts.
    Some people are difficult.
