    Pros

Very easy and decent benefits. Probably the best benefits package I've seen.

    Cons

No room for growth, out of touch superiors and severe punishment/termination when employees voice concerns

    Advice to Management

Seek your employees, learn about them and how to best support them.

  2. Many expert specialists; not the best work environment.

    Pros

Renowned specialists throughout the organization. Great training programs, classes, & knowledgeable training staff.

    Cons

Management has very little support to discipline problematic employees. Training is wonderful but no one in the actual clinics applies what they've learned at the leadership level. Very hostile working environment; if you are an over achiever & want to make a difference, the long standing employees make life very difficult because they are all threatened by anyone who WANTS to work hard.

    Advice to Management

Don't settle on just tenure with employees; if there is a problem, whether with front line staff or management, allow those things to be dealt with professionally. Support management in removing problematic employees when proper protocol is followed. Don't allow gossip/hostility/bullying from old, tenured employees towards good, new employees you hired to make a difference - serious culture change needed.

Worst managers ever. Rule by intimidation. No concern for employees! Extremely short staffed and over scheduled. Constant change.

    Pros

Terrific insurance benefits as its a state institution.

    Cons

A constant barrage of ridicule day in and day out. Compliments always felt like they were given because they " had" to. Supervisors take direction from managers so if they're told by managers to punish or to compliment- they do. They are not by themselves free to make a decision. They have not earned honest respect from any of my former peers. As my peers shared many times: " you just learn to play their game". Rather sad.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so concerned about the processes that are created. Take stock in your employees and value their opinions. Put patient care and your employees happiness first and their wont be such a high turn over with consistent low morale.

  6. Large state entity with good benefits, however, salaries for administrative and support staff much below current market.

Excellent 401k match after 5 years of service.

    Cons

Difficult to get promoted within the company. Many more positions filled with candidates from outside the company.

    Advice to Management

    Promote talent from within.

    Pros

retirement, good healthcare, and alot of PTO given as your years with the company increase.

    Cons

Overworked in most offices, always understaffed due to budget restrains, and very low annual increases given to the majority of the employees.

    Advice to Management

treat your employees the way you would like your OWN children to be treated in the work place. With respect, kindness, and appreciation. Hiring enough workers to get the job DONE ON TIME instead of overloading staff and causing health issues: hypertension, strokes/heart attacks, .migranes.

    Pros

Again, the employees here are some of the nicest people you will ever work with. People come here expecting the ship to be run by a first-class captain, but will quickly learn that it is run by a deck-hand in a suit.

    Cons

The leadership has poor management skills. They treat you like a position and not a person. This is a very stagnant work environment. Don't pass up the opportunity to work here if you don't have anything else on the table, but if you do, take your other option.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example, not by intimidation.

    Pros

The benefit package is good and reasonable.

    Cons

Management need more trainings and they do not support their staff at all.

    Advice to Management

Management need to be more accessible and available. Also they need people with advance degee and experience, not just anybody to fill the position.
