I have been working at UTI

    Pros

Even though UTI is a for profit school, they place a serious commitment to their students to find success post graduation. The staff is truly behind the purpose of making school worthwhile.

    Cons

It seems that there are lots of overlapping duties and not a clear message on who is responsible for what.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Enforce standard procedures that are already in place and things will run much more efficiently

    I worked at UTI full-time

    Pros

Worked at UTI 5+ years and had a very positive experience. There was a lot of opportunity for advancement and they truly care about a good work life balance. Work is challenging but satisfying.

    Cons

UTI needs to continue to emphasize that they are all working towards the same goal and different teams and departments need to work better and more closely with each other to achieve them.

I worked at UTI full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay was great. When I first started they treated their employees very well. Fair compensation when released.

    Cons

They have the opportunity to increase market share and they crawling back in their shell. I don't see much growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper and Middle management promoted yes people. They would tell you to not have a victim mentallity but that's what their actions exemplified. Dissenting critiques were looked at as being negative. They preached great company values but over the past few years didn't back them up. I believe that things can turn around for them though once they replace some management and get back to how it was before.
