I have been working at Unilever part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The flexible work time allows you to manage my time and create a good work life balance.

    Cons

There are hardly any opportunities to progress with your carrier if you have an entry level position.
The benefits are always less and less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ask lower level workers what they want, how they see things and listen to them.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Unilever full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Agile working where you are free to work from home or coffee shop as long as you are meeting deadlines, thorough understanding of FMCG with a focus on Sales and costumer development. Good salaries and insurance plans, prestigious company with qualified teams.

    Cons

Stressful working environment, non-systematic and chaotic work flow, last minute execution and no proper planning most of the time, poor follow up on representative offices outside Egypt

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More follow up, make sure teams are working towards the same goal, protect brand equity and do not be too sales oriented. Train your teams better and make sure they get a wider exposure of several functions.

I have been working at Unilever full-time

    Pros

You can work from home when you want. You can get a lot of responsibility at a young age. You can travel a lot, including internationally. The people are really nice and really willing to help

They work you really hard and call it agile working. The structure is not very organized and there are frequent reorgs.

I have been working at Unilever

    Pros

In this company, you are in a really great position. It allows you to really grow as a professional, as well as a person. You're given opportunities to handle million dollar brands that other companies cannot offer. It also allows for you to do agile working (work from home).

    Cons

Promotions are a challenge, not enough slots for the number of eligible people
Leadership also consistently shakes things up,...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick to decisions. Do not keep changing the direction because it will affect all of us
