“I was repeatedly disrespected by peers and all levels of management”
Former Employee – worked at United International College
Pros – International lifestyle, amazing students, innovative curriculum, proximity to Hong Kong and Macau makes it an excellent cosmopolitan opportunity, Zhuhai is a gorgeous community
Cons – Senior Management repeatedly micromanages all levels of day to day operations, faculty serve an average of 1-3 years in many programs so minimal continuity, management fires people then rehires them a year later
Advice to Senior Management – Create an environment where faculty run the academic side of the organization. Consider adopting an American scheduling model instead of Hong Kong 2 + 1.
