    ProsGreat people. Very good managers. Lots of career potential. Dynamic and fast paced.

    ConsBurlington Office is not that nice. Not many benefits. Lots of last minute requests.

    Unitrends is a challenging and exciting place to work. The only limitations to personal growth are self-imposed.

    ProsThe people are great and the opportunities are abundant. Everyone is measured and rewarded based upon individual and Corporate results. The 'team' enviorment is phenenomenal. It is an honor to be part of this team.

    ConsUnitrends is a company that prides itself on very aggressive schedules and goals. This is what has allowed Unitrends to have the unbelievable growth over that past year.

    ProsUnitrends empowers its employees to make a difference on their team, be it sales, marketing, support, or development. Great culture of hardworking , smart people who truly want to see the company take over the industry.

    ConsLack of structure around new hire training, this isn't a place for those who aren't self starters. Slightly under paid for the industry. Long hours.

    Advice to Senior ManagementAdd structure to training immediately to reduce turnover. Match 401k. Hire additional capacity in all sales support positions immediately, but with more structure.

    There's always room for improvement at Unitrends, however, overall I like where I work.

    ProsBest asset of the company is the amazing group of people that are team orientated, collaborative, fun and have a true passion for what they do.

    You have an opportunity to work independently while engaging in a team-like atmosphere.

    Great Customer Support Engineers who understand the needs of our customer.

    Great office support

    Our product is manufactured in the US and our Customer Support department isn’t outsourced to another country.

    No stick dress code.

    Enjoy the company provided sodas and snacks, ping pong, air hockey and company celebrations.

    ConsSalary is not benchmarked with the best in industry.

    Political environment within some departments

    Lack of leadership

    Poor FTE orientation

    Lack of training

    Minimal career opportunities

    Limitations in promotion and always cost cutting.

    Advice to Senior ManagementCommunication within company needs to improve. Focus on the experienced/talented employees and try to retain them. Hold your leaders accountable especially as it relates to employee retention. Have 360 degree feedback and appraisal, reduce politics in the teams. Senior management needs to be more sensitive to the needs of their employees. Telecommuting would be an added bonus.
