Current Employee – been working at University of Dayton full-time for more than a year
Pros – Benefits package
HR
Welcoming atmosphere
Beautiful campus
Principles-first administration
Cons – Pay
Career advancement opportunities for staff
Disconnect (relative) between engineering, sciences, and surrounding resources
Advice to Senior Management – Provide direct pathways for career advancement for research staff between science, engineering, University of Dayton Research Institute, and Wright Patterson Airforce Base, and closely associated companies such as UES. In other words, there should be a mechanism where I do not have to do all the legwork myself to set up networking with people at these locations if I already work here.

Former Employee – worked at University of Dayton part-time for more than a year
Pros – The atmosphere on campus is warm and inviting, and everyone I interacted with, from other employees to students, was welcoming and friendly. The people make it a great place to work and to go to school!
Cons – Most jobs are for students and are minimum wage. It can be hard to get a job without knowing someone who already works there There doesn't seem to be much room for career growth for jobs as students.
Advice to Senior Management – I rarely interacted with management, so it would be great if they were more of a presence.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
