I worked at University of Kent as a contractor

    Pros

Employers were open communicators yet allowed for free decision making and initiative from employees, beautiful environment, motivation to improve jobs position and duties

    Cons

Sometimes coworkers are unresponsive or do not fully communicate, time off policies, job expectations were not always clearly outlined

I worked at University of Kent full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great connections and networking amidst a creative inspiring atmosphere.

    Cons

The Rochester campus is very inaccessible if the lift is out of order as it's built on a very steep hill and has many many stairs!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some time at ground level with the staff who are in direct contact with the students on a daily basis to understand the issues that need addressing.
