    Pros

There are good personal development training sessions with partnership of PwC offered for peer mentors. The volunteering work is very flexible and relaxed.

    Cons

the work is not so challenging. Basically you just need to contact your mentors regularly and participate in some events organised by coordinators.

    Pros

Great atmosphere and surroundings. Facilities are great with all possible resources available and extensive support from staff. Would recommend to anyone

    Cons

A very big institution so quite a culture shock if you are used to being a big fish in a small pond.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. The university is getting bigger and better everyday. Proud to have worked here

    Pros

I was provided with loads of opportunities to work on different projects and campaigns. All the staffs were very friendly and supportive when I have questions from work. I've learnt many transferable soft skills that I can't learn from class rooms.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons of my work at Manchester. Even the pay was good.

    Advice to Management

Culture was great. You control your own work-life balance. You only need to wear student ambassador hoodies when you are working outside meeting people directly. When I worked on other back-office roles, I could wear what I like
