Most resourceful state university at an amazing price.

Tour Guide (Former Employee) Amherst, MA

ProsResources under all departments: Academics, transportation, events, student organizations, advisors, study abroad options, job opportunities, and financial aid options. The design of the campus itself makes getting around easy too.

ConsToo many choices, which can become overwhelming. There's also lots of construction going on because of their 50 year plan on giving the 150 year old university a beautiful tune-up and additions.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep on keeping on with that 50 year plan.

    Excellent work atmosphere

Graduate Teaching Assistant (Former Employee) Amherst, MA

ProsThis position had a reasonable workload. Considering I was just a graduate student teaching assistant, I was well-paid. The campus is absolutely beautiful and the other employees were great people!

ConsSome of the buildings on campus are in desperate need of renovation, and the constant landscaping to keep campus looking good meant outdoor walking areas are frequently closed.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease have a more realistic representation of working hours!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
