I have been working at University of Missouri

    Pros

A lot of opportunities to learn different disciplines in the conservation and resource management fields. Really enjoyed the diversity of people and research opportunities.

    Cons

There really was no cons to this position. Everyone i worked with was patient and knowledgeable when questions arose. If given the opportunity to work here, i would highly recommend it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would stress that they maintain their high level of enthusiasm and dedication to training the next generation of environmental, conservation, and resource scientist.

I have been working at University of Missouri

    Pros

    Very laid back work space
    Nice people
Paid time and a half for overtime and double for holidays
A very very secure job for film
    Good benefits

    Cons

Their rate of pay is severely lower than the average rate of pay for this profession in Missouri or elsewhere. Their initial offer was only $13 and hour, but I was able to use some leverage to budge them up to $17 during salary negotiations. The woman in charge of the video department was extremely rude always.
