    Pros

Easy, fun nature able to work easily with other departments. Students are normally very nice to work with. Supervisor has your back and always there for you

    Cons

You don't get paid near enough. Also getting paid once a month is hard for those that don't know budgeting.

    Pros

Very flexible hours, low stress, and fun workplace. My boss was a lovely, patient woman and helped me gain the office experience that has proven invaluable.

    Cons

Pay was at absolute minimum, raises were routine though. The University does have some student jobs that are higher on the pay scale ($12-14) but this position was not one of them.

    Advice to Management

Some of the employees were very unprofessional, not showing up to work for weeks at a time in extreme cases with little warning. These weren't students who worked in the office exactly but out of the office doing odd jobs on the campus. There are tons of students desperate for work especially campus work that would not behave in such a way.

    Pros

Super flexible hours, the academic coordinator is outstanding, gain excellent experience dealing with a diverse group of people, reinforce information you learned in the class(es) you tutor

    Cons

Dealing with the -occasional- bad attitude from one of the students, inadequate parking when there are soccer games (not many cons here!)

    Advice to Management

I really don't have any huge complaints. Management was excellent and I do not have any suggestions to put forward.

    Pros

The hours were really flexible for student part time workers. I worked as an A/V tech for university events up to 29 hours a week and scheduling never was an issue

    Cons

Sometimes the other employees are just thrust into event setups without full training or explanations of some key things.

    Advice to Management

reform your management and training methods even though it is hard to do so with student workers and a high turnover rate.

    Pros

good environment, good boss, well paid, the company will take care of you and give you an environment in which you can succeed

    Cons

can be tough at times in the sense that you have to work even during the finals week. Other then that there wont be a lot of other issues

    Advice to Management

The management should try and have less shifts during the finals week. They should also try and take care of students reviews in a good manner
