    I worked on clinical trials both clinical human subjects and per-clinical research studies. Worked with a great group of people.

    Get new and updated knowledge from professors.
    Flexible working time.
    Have one home based work day per week.
    People there are friendly.

    Pros

    Excellent ambulatory care experience. Supportive directors and preceptors, variety of elective experiences available. Numerous teaching opportunities at USC and option to earn teaching certificate. Excellent work/life balance.

    Cons

    No significant cons, but one improvement that would further benefit residents of this program is having more variety of disease states to manage in clinic. Currently the main disease states encountered are diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.

    Advice to Management

    Consider integrating more disease state management into the core clinic experience so that residents have the opportunity to pursue an other experiences during elective time.

    I have been working at University of Southern California

    Pros

    They pay a decent amount compared to other TA positions at other schools. Also, the professors are pretty accessible. And the Math tutoring lab is a good system.

    Cons

    The neighborhood it's in is obvious bad. Some of the staff could be nicer. The printer was broken so often it was a running joke. University of spoiled children sometimes applied.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure all your staff are nice, and sure basic necessities such as printers work, make the grad lounge slightly nicer with your 8 billion endowment.
