Everything! The faculty is incredible helpful and try very hard to give undergraduates an incredible experience. I always felt that I was valued and my ideas were listened to. Professors are very receptive to undergraduates interested in research.

I worked at University of Vermont

    Pros

Everyone was intelligent, thoughtful and respectful. The attention given to closing the feedback loop served as an encouraging (and accurate) indicator of managers' commitment to improving the UVM experience for both employees and visitors. As a UVM employee, having a voice was only among the many opportunities that help build relevant real-life and career experience. On the job training, employee appreciation events and room for upward mobility were only the tip of the iceberg. My experiences working at and with UVM were nothing short of positive. And the skills gained during my time there left me better prepared for life after college than any class could ever offer.

    Cons

Tough to find a downside to working at the DC. Lots of great people, and an encouraging and supportive community of leaders. I highly recommend finding a way to get involved.

    Pros

A great place to work. They have a great benefits package with great health insurance, tuition remission, and a commitment to a healthy work-life balance. The people at the university and greater community are caring and supportive. Burlington, Vermont is one of the best small cities in the US offering clean air, great schools, a diverse community and has a good venue supporting the arts.

    Cons

There are no cons as far as I am concerned.
