Opportunities exist for employees who wants to perform well.
    Fair remuneration scale.

ConsPersonal interest of some senior management interferes with their work and objectivity.
Management style is too top down at times.

    No clear career development plan

Principal R&D Engineer (Former Employee) Singapore (Singapore)

ProsDuring initial period of 2000, large profit sharing & Share option which can compensate the lower salary scheme. Starting middle of 2000, change in HR which claim salary review to match market value, the profit sharing drop to very low and no more share option or restricted share option. Better be share holder than employee as the monetary value will be higher.

ConsTight control in running company, up to hiring of operators which required CEO approval. Depend largely on customer projects, so it's like no clear view of future projects.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease the staff welfare in term of financial or recreational. Not only on the revenue goal.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Good place to start

    Electrical Engineer (Former Employee)

ProsLots of exposure to all aspects of design and manufacturing. Good place to start and learn.

ConsNot enough emphasis on promoting talent. Very slow career advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementRetain your talent. Building up the expertise of your employees and then letting them slip away is a waste.
