    I worked at Verizon full-time

    Pros

Benefits in general for a large size company

    Cons

Too much favoritism at the management level one of groups, you are being recognition for who you know and what you know. No benefits are worth for this kind of work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Refrain old timers at the management level from making decision on their own.

I have been working at Verizon

    Pros

Verizon Wireless does use cutting edge technology for their application development. People working there are very nice. salary is competitive.

    Cons

Projects seemed to be understaffed. You may need to work 10+ hour days consistently and possibly weekends to meet the deadline. Many departments are like this too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would like mgmt to at least acknowledge how hard their people are working to make these deadlines. That is all. Sometimes something that cost nothing can go a long way.
