    Pros

Good discounts and opportunities for the workers to understand the new launches

    Cons

Management can be playing you. They had me training for a higher level position for 3 months and swearing up and down they were going to give me a raise then my paycheck did not reflect it.

    Pros

The training of this job is seriously top notch. Before I even stepped out on the floor I had multiple days of training with manuals and booklets developed by corporate which ended up being extremely helpful for me.

The discount is a really nice perk but is also very tempting!

The work environment is fun! The products Victorias Secret and Victorias Secret PINK sells are fun and selling them is a blast as well!

Work is fast paced! There is always something to do whether it be folding, selling, sizing, helping or greeting customers who enter the store.

    Cons

Victorias Secret doesn't do paper checks so you must set up direct deposit asap! If you don't it will go on the corporate pay card you receive in the mail which is kind of a pain.

Management can get grumpy easily when the sales are low and the numbers set by corporate are not being made. They then tend to get pushy and it makes it harder for you to sell because no one likes to shop with a pushy salesperson.

    Pros

The company is great about training and providing the product knowledge needed to get the job done. The company is slowly moving towards a commission based system, which will allow you to earn more.

    Cons

The commission based system may prevent some people from getting the amount of desired hours. The hours can get tough because retail is open 365 days a year pretty much.

    Pros

Discount is generous. You will be given opportunity to move up quickly as long as you put your all into it.

    Cons

The public. They can be really mean. And having to make sales plan in a certain amount of time puts a lot of pressure on you. And it is frustrating that we are allowed to take back so much used and damaged product.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

It was a really great group of people to work with. Enjoyed going to work each day.

    Cons

Pay could be a bit better. But I guess that's what you can expect from an entry-level, part-time job.

    Great.

    Pros

I liked being able to work closely with other people, and building bonds with the customers since it is an intimate store. While I was seasonal due to college, every time I would come home from break to visit, they were more than willing to put me on the schedule, and it seemed like every time I came back, some person was promoted, so I assumed if I stayed I would have had that opportunity.

    Cons

Due to me being seasonal, I feel I wasn't trusted in as much, and wasn't trained on anything outside of the fitting room and basic sales. Never learned stocking, cashiering, or anything like that.

    Pros

The best part of working here, was receiving discounts at the store and all the other store under parent company.
I worked at two locations in NJ. Good job for students or part-time work.

    Cons

Have to make quota or min sales of bras, fragrances, and card members.
One location I worked for 1 day, because of the environment of the staff and customers, but the other location I enjoyed.
