    Pros

Free merchandise and decent discounts. We are now getting company wide raises. I am a male who is getting plenty of extra seasonal hours. It's a iconic company to work for that influences fashion and society.

    Cons

    Pros

Working with my felow co workers made the job much more intersting and a fun family oriented place to go to work to.

    Cons

Working at Victoria´s Secret is defenitly a fast and competitive environment to work at, it could defenitly get really messy especially when it comes to closing time, the closing time is pretty much working another 3'4 hour shift . Low pay for other associates who work hard,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As a company seek to get to know your employees and stop promissing, but actually do what you are saying you are going to do.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great perks, $15 bras and perfume from time to time

    Cons

Working as a sales support associate means working terrible hours, like 9pm-6am or starting at 4 or 5am. Terrible wages and asking for time off isn't always approved. Always sucks when you have a ton of on call shifts and have to put plans on hold until you figure out if they're going to need you or not

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actually care about your employees and pay them decent to reduce turnaround.

    Empowering Evironment
    Educational
    Positve Team Environment
    Culture
    Philanthropic
    Great Incentives
    Fun
    Energetic

    Cons

    Very Low Pay
Hard to have growth within the company
    Employees are expendable
Expectations too high for pay level
Separation of Management and Employees leads to sometimes hostile work environment
Lack of support from company for low volume location
No affordable benefits for lower level employees
Extreme income fluctuation even with open availability to work
Does not allow for true community support

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This company was, in all, my favorite job I've ever had. In the end, I couldn't survive on the wage. I understand that retail pay is not very high. However, it is a specialized sector of retail that the associates and managers are expected to be the experts of, after all Victori's Secret is Best at Bras. I think, that Victoria's Secret Culture is a great idea with poor follow through. Value your low level employees, they pave the way for you to, not just make money, but do better. Better in sales, Better at Bras, Better at being a part of the community.

Allow for locations to support thier local community through more than a canned food drive. Allow for donations. Allow for the store to go into the community and support it. The community supports the store, so the store should support back.

Don't forget the small stores, don't forget the small communities, and don't forget the "small" employees. These are the backbone of your organization.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I enjoy my teammates and have made a lot of lifetime friends there.

    Cons

You work almost every weekend and every holiday. Management now has discretion when it comes to new hire pay rates, so a newbie can make $10+ per hour, when a tenured, amazing associate still only makes $7.50. It's also going to commission based, which they are calling "bonusing"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people fairly, and don't forget about your best, most tenured associates. They are the ones that really run the store and keep your loyal customers coming back

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Time off, discounts (40%) at both VS and B&BW, meeting new people, and making new friends. 3 of my closest friendships began as fellow associates in Savannah. Extra shifts were always a plus while working PT and in school.

    Cons

Mandatory 7am meetings, Angel Card sales determined scheduled hours for the next week (boooo!)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not everyone has good credit, nor does everyone want to ruin their score for a NON-MAJOR credit card.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time

    Pros

Employee discount is good. Some lower management are very helpful.

    Cons

There isn't a proven way to tract customer's and sales associates together. To cut throat and the management is ALWAYS demanding employee's get people to open a credit card. Training is VERY inadequate.

    Pros

Free bra almost every month. New perfumes meant either a decent size tester or for management the actual bottle. Discount decent at 30% off.

    Cons

Micro managers and not much room for change. Pay is low. Management is pushed to constantly critique staff and coworkers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lay off the intense critiquing of co-workers and staff.
