    I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time

    Pros

Some of the good things about working here was the discount and freebies I got and being in a nice work space with a locker to hold all your stuff.

    Cons

Some of the things that were no so good about working here was the hours. The biggest part was the pay rate which was really low and you have to wait and compete with lots of employees for higher pay rates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to your employees when it comes to their availability and keep in mind that employees have more than just a job in life.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time

    Pros

If you are full time you get plenty of benefits like PTO, Health and Dental Insurance.

    Cons

It used to be a family-like culture that inspired growth and improvement. I even used to consider making a career out of it. However now there is a new process involved that makes employees only numbers and not humans. The culture of the company really has gone out the window.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The culture really needs to turn around if they want to keep any of their employees.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

i worked at both stores for quite some time and honestly the best part was the employees at the store. There was a great atmosphere and I made life-long friends.
The brand itself is incredibly dedicated to their values and pride themselves on professional
Though being an employee can be intense, I felt that I was given such great preparation and training for other jobs.
I loved working in both VS and PINK and wouldn't trade my experience for the world

    Cons

The biggest cons were issues regarding management, there was a lot of politics involved
As an employee however it was possible to by pass this if you were really good at your job and the store felt that your presence was invaluable.
The store could also be hectic and at times I felt that I was more of a security guard than a sales associate
The issue of minimum wage is was also a killer, I felt that the company could be more generous to their employees, compared to other retail brands it is on the lower side of pay and career opportunities for most people

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for more than a year

    Pros

As a whole the company is great to work for. You get extra discounts on certain days, you get access to the gift bags, giveaways before customers and you get discounts at other stores that the Limited Company owns

    Cons

The Robinson store is completely disorganized. The managers were never on the same page, scheduling was a disaster, and scheduling was a game of politics- if one manager liked someone more than someone else, they would be allowed to be sent home early first (even if the other person had been there longer) etc. etc. They would change your schedule and not tell you

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get new management.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Its a good starting job. It helps you learn better communication skills. This job will teach you to learn patience and to respect those working in retail.

    Cons

The starting pay is terrible. There are petty cliques with smaller stores. There is also a lot of gossip and competition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help is needed with little stores!
