    Pros

    * Great office building and location * Great set of people to work with * Geeky folks if you like working in a tech environement * Company benefits - Friday happy hour (View), free lunch trucks and some celebration or other. * truely high tech with WiFi, Mobile access etc * No WFH but flexible schedule as long as you get the job done.

    Cons

    * Cimpress is the technology hub and Vistaprint is now a marketing organization. * Vistaprint has too many middle managers. These managers are figuring what and how to do things. Painful * Work takes too long to get done. * Not investing in building technology but more so buying and integrating. * Team working in all directions which keep changing. * Leadership is not true to what they say and very loosey goosey.

    Advice to Management

    * Better focus * Be transparent in communication * Rely on core principles to move company forward * Take risks

    Pros

If it was 5/6 years back, then this place was truly one of the best places in the Boston area to work for. -1 month sabbatical after 5 years -Work/Life Balance depending on org -Wonderful coworkers -Large Capital budget that truly enabled the best of the best in terms of infrastructure, resources -Autonomy depending on your position and org

    Cons

Senior Management had truly no idea what certain groups/orgs did. Major successes were never communicated up, saving the company $$ would never reach the top if you had a management team that never communicated up and even if they did, it was rarely applauded Continuous reorg, shifts in strategies, lack of overall communication -Good ole boy/girl network. Its all about who you know. You can do no wrong and or do nothing and be unaffected by any changes.. i e. constant/massive transitions

    Advice to Management

Look at the top, rather than the bottom. There are some great senior leaders but most don't care about the folks that work hard for them. No guidance, no leadsership and they mainly just play the game that was PGM. Get the story, get promoted on the backs of their people and move on.

    Pros

Food trucks twice per month, Flexible working hours, Intelligent co-workers

    Cons

Management cannot stick to a strategy. Re-structuring is on-going. Management turn over is constant. Can't get to know your boss as you have a new one every month. No visionaries.

    Advice to Management

    See the plan through

    Pros

If you are under age 30, this is a good place to be. Every Friday late afternoon socials. If you have a great manager, you can move far within the company. Very talented people

    Cons

Since alot of managers/supervisors are promoted from within, quite of few have no experience managing folks nor should manage others. Every 3 weeks had to work one night until 5 am. No work-life balance for working parents Can be hard to take time off

    Advice to Management

folks who are great as individual contributors do not necessarily make good managers.

    Pros

    * Salary and benefits * The technical changes that they're implementing are great experience * Work-life balance

    Cons

    * A lot of young employees who have never worked anywhere else and have advanced quickly. Their heads grew with their advancement and they really need to have their egos brought under control. * Constant organizational change that results in group re-shuffling and project cancellations.

    Advice to Management

    none.

    Pros

Very smart people. If you're analytical and data driven, you'll get exposed to lots of new ways of looking at the business. Free drinks and food every Friday afternoon.

    Cons

Too much process in everything. Even something as simple as filling out an employee survey has a process that you must follow for completing the survey. Great for young people that haven't been exposed to other company cultures. Not so great if you have any enterpreneurial inclinations or like to do things fast. The hidden politics were unbelieveable. It was like a soap opera with people complaining to senior managers about another person without discussing the issues with that person first. With all these smart people there were also lots of high maintenance personalities.

    Advice to Management

Be open to evolving the culture and changing the senior managers that have been there forever.

    Cons

Some departments the managers are not so good so the attrition is really high.
