    Pros

    $100 Cafe card for food in the Expensive Aramark Cafe / Two week long service bonus / 10 Years you get the latest and greatest IPAD/ On Site Fitness Center complete with Lockers/Showers / Building is very comfortable.

    Cons

    You have to earn your days, if your in care they charge the days you call out sick unexcused even if you bring a doctors note in - If you don't have enough days in the bucket, your not paid, you need to be there 5 years to accumulate a decent amount of days. Care Management is the worse, they bully everyone for FCR and then when you don't make it, your the first one fired - Stay away from AOS you will be glad you did. The "Network" Side of the house is much better and the managers actually do care not like in AOS. There was an employee survey they used to do, but we all think that it showed Management how unhappy people are and they did not do in 2014 and have no intention to do so.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Replace all Management with people that care and are family oriented and will give time off. Change the Sick policy and allow 10 sick days per year without using your FDO balances - If someone is sick they should not have to choose between working and being terminated and Doctors notes are excused, not unexcused absences. Allow for more personal growth, The Whistle-blower / Safe Workplace is a fraud, if you report your supervisor or Manager, you loose your job even when they say "We do not retaliate against any employee" - stop the lies, fix the issues, I know Marc Lefar is leaving but maybe the new CEO needs to go on "Undercover Boss" and see what really goes on!!

    Pros

    Teammates were usually good, fun people.

    Cons

    Managers all seem to be young with no management training and cliquish, very micromanaged environment and difficult to move up or around in.

    Take to heart employee feedback, and ask for or at least try to complete some sort of self study management training.

    Pros

    Some of the best people i have ever worked with i have met at Vonage. The environment can be almost like a battleground and you can develop Fox hole type friendships. A extraordinary pool of talented people. The job Demands that you develop as a person. Upper management seems to care but does not know how to connect with the employee. Despite the stress of the job, can be a fun environment.

    Cons

    Middle Management seldom recognizes the talent pool. Middle management has a nazi type control over the employees, and tends to try and control what upper management sees or hears... Typical corp politics. Very Very high turnover rate.. of a group of 35 hired together, 3 yrs later 3 of us remained.

    Listen less to numbers and more to the people doing the job.

    CEO and top level VP's left the company within weeks of each other.

    Pros

    The company is making a lot of money and they don't share it with their employees. However, they do have a great cafeteria.

    Cons

    The whole structure is not conducive for advancement or any contributions from junior, middle, or even senior staff. They are led purely by the dollar and everything is controlled by just a few C-Level people. No one else really adds anything in the end.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Clean-up your HR process and let more staff actually play a role in where the company is going. Don't focus so much on profits for shareholders focus on innovation for the future of your company.

    Horrible salaries, no work/life balance, demoralizing managers, some of the things that went on here are illegal in regards to how employees are treated, women are rarely promoted, many unprofessional people, the absolute worst place I ever worked.

    Pros

    Other than a very select few people, there is not a single pro I can give you to ever work here. Do yourself a favor and just don't apply or accept an offer here!

    Cons

    This is the most unprofessional, disrespectful joke of a company I have ever worked for! I decided to leave within a month of being there and eventually left without another job lined up after less than 1 year there. There is no management, leadership and the concern is more with who to blame and doing the same things over and over with no results then the want for progress or success.

    I gave more than 2 weeks notice and agreed to staying a couple weeks longer after being asked by 1 of the very few people there I respect. I wanted to leave knowing I was professional until the end and left delivering more than any other person on my team including my boss.

    I was recently offered a new job and after multiple attempts by my new company to verify my employment they contacted me for help. After multiple attempts myself and eventually a phone conversation with my old HR rep, who agreed to get it done by the next day....you guessed it...still nothing! Thank goodness I keep my own records and was able to provide the verification myself. However by this time I missed my scheduled start date and was made to wait a month for the next orientation.

    Not only are they unprofessional while you work there, they continue that practice even after you have left.

    I wouldn't recommend anyone apply or work here!!

    Had Benefits
    Food was pretty good
    Exercise room was also pretty good

    Cons

    Time was so tightly monitored you needed manager permission to go to the bathroom
    Time kept getting more and more tightly controlled
    Constant coaching for all of your supposed faults yet management never got called on theirs

    Don't treat your employees like they are mindless, if you treat people with respect they will reciprocate

    Pros

    A cafe inside the building. Pay is decent.

    Cons

    Long term success at Vonage requires learning how to blame someone else for your problems. This is mostly done through lying and intimidation. The longer you stay there, the more you realize that your time will eventually run out, as someone else will eventually do you in. All decision-making appears to be based on wishful thinking; hope overrides fact. When projects fail, the failure is often redefined as success, ensuring that those in charge continue to be covered in glory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Jettison all middle management; establish control over IT contractors. Upper management appear to be decent business people but are technically clueless, so they cannot tell when middle management misleads, which is often.
