Conslow pay compared to similar positions elsewhere
do not go here if you have a college degree waste of time

poor communication from upper management

Advice to Senior ManagementWork on feeding the pipeline of new products, and stop removing them without letting sales staff know.

Great company for people who live to work and already have enough money to live on.

Key Account Manager International Sales (Current Employee)
Bad Mergentheim (Germany)

I have been working at Würth

ProsInteresting work, good top management, good personal development programs and personal career opportunities....BUT: more responsability does only mean more work, not more money.

ConsPoor payment strategy and work life balance.
No additional benefits. General lots of unpaid over hours

Advice to Senior ManagementPay your employees fair and to an extent that they can make a living on the work,
or you will keep loosing the ones who could bring the company ahead.

Poor Payment for constant performance pressure and constantly working over hours (unpaid).

Business Unit Manager Key Account Customers (Former Employee)
Künzelsau (Germany)

I worked at Würth

ProsIndependant working, leadership by objectives (figures), Good career opportunities for high performers.

ConsEven if you work yourself up the ladder, you make hardly more money, but instead get more work, travelling, meetings responsibility , huge variable part of salary related to company performance and meeting ones objectives. But if you miss one out of 3 objectives (revenue, profit in% and profit in absolute figures) by just 1%, you get nothing at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementShare not only the business risks but also the opportunities and achievements of your sales people with them. Highly qualified and motivated people will not stay in your company if you pay them a net hourly wage of less then 5 EUR and force them to give up their private life for the company.
