Current Employee – been working at WSP Group full-time for more than 10 years

ProsGreat people at most levels
Some fantastic, iconic projects on the books
Exposure to international projects and expertise

ConsPromotion of talkers over doers has created a level of upper management that has no real insight of how the business generates income.
Focus is on accounting instead of engineering. Fatal in the long term for any business.

Advice to Senior ManagementConcentrate on delivering technical excellence, financial success stems from this alone. Cutting costs to improve the bottom line as the primary business strategy will end in disaster.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at WSP Group

Pros- Great office location in the heart of central London
- Decent team and amicable office
- Enthusiasm in general

Cons- Repetitive tasks, not very dynamic
- Skills and abilities not allowed to developed within the rigid structure of activities

Advice to Senior ManagementWorking closer with employees, building their skills and interests. The outsourcing of intelligence seemed to be quite a problem, even when specialisation could be built among existing staff.
