    Pros

air conditioned work environment (except TLE), all kinds of nice people to work with, good work environment, low stress (unless in management), was willing to work with my schedule (always), easy to transfer, really overall you're set up for success.

    Cons

pay is (was) not great, low pay caps, promotions not worth the pay increase, had to work ALL major holidays, you really have to learn C.Y.A.

    Advice to Management

the reasons I quit was because I was blamed for something I didn't do. and it was not thoroughly investigated. I ask that when an employee has been with the company 5+ years you make SOME effort to believe them.

    Pros

    Long term career opportunities
Learn different aspects of customer service
    Friendly environment
Started paying decent wages for entry level applicants

    Cons

    Can be fast-paced and stressful
Advancement into salaried management requires recommendation from current store manager regardless of how little experience they've had with you

    Advice to Management

Teach and train your associates rather than degrade and mock them
Think about what the company needs to progress rather than what you want for your job to be easier

    Advice to Management

Keep talking to associates on the department and sales level.

    Pros

Good pay and environment overall, just come to work do your Jon and there will not be any major issues.

    Cons

The biggest con is the fact that as truck driver, the Private Fleet will always ho beyond what the law requires for safety/lawsuit protection which is good except that it usually impacts our work days more than most people in the industry.

    Pros

Generally stays busy in the Tire & Lube Express shop. You'll usually go home feeling tired and accomplished from your work that day. Great sense of comradery outside.

    Cons

Management will bend over backwards to accommodate customers, even when they are clearly being taken advantage of. Some customers knew how to get free tires and oil changes by saying the right things to the managers.

    Advice to Management

Try putting more effort into distinguishing customers that truly need help from customers who take advantage of Walmart's generosity.
