    ProsThe days were predictable at first and the work was consistent and predictable. It was fast paced and kept you busy on your feet all day so the day went faster. I was a temp so most standard employee benefits did not apply to me. Job was pretty simple and straight forward and I was able to work first shift. My daughter's father was also a long time full time employee of the company (9 years plus).

    ConsThere were stretches of weeks without a day off and working 9 hour shifts 7 days a week wears you out. The supervisors tended to sit on their butt's shooting the breeze all day but frowned upon anyone who would take more than a too tight amount of time to complete a task. My assignment was ended after I missed too many days for court hearings and then had to take a day for my daughter to be in the hospital. As a single parent that was horrible to have to chose if I go to work and then who cares for my child or do I lose my job and make sure she is ok. You went no where any how and were treated poorly as a temp and you couldn't sit down for even a second. In the final days that this branch was open they really even treated their long term employees horribly.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThank goodness you are closed. Understand that single parents need one day off now and again. Don't end people's assignments over court days and real health emergencies. Understand that employees are human and not robots.

    ProsTypical corporate environment. Overall great place to work. Benefits and compensation were up to par with what was in the industry

    ConsLittle room for career advancement. Overall travel was quite extensive.

    ProsGood compensation. Great people in the ranks.Met some great people who have become good friends.

    ConsExecutive management and their HR cronies! What a joke! The CEO thinks she’s a role model and has no clue about what the rank and file really think. We've watched her push great people out and fill exec ranks with her cronies and others of little substance and no vision. The product and quality got weaker and weaker as process and margin became king so she could sell out.. Day-to-day business was crashing but new business (countries) and off price masked the realities

    Advice to Senior ManagementYou got the last laugh and walked away with the big money but hopefully people will know the truth and you won't be able to repeat this performance. iUnder new leadership we WILL clean this up.

    great job if you have the right boss

    Prosfair salary, great benefits, good quality of life balance, good time off. summer fridays

    Conscannot comment on upper management (CEO, COO etc) but VP and down seem to be clueless in the area and field i am employed in. My direct manager only knows how to manage by intimidation and has a personality disorder so i wouldnt judge based on that. overall good solid company

    Advice to Senior Managementhire some management that knows about other areas than there expertise if you are going to assign them to run other types of businesses. Allow direct reports to voice opinion on their manager when manager is inappopriate and borderline abusive.

    Good potential , but short-termism messes things up

    ProsThe work conditions are good and the environment is informal, managers are in general flexible and understanding, and some are very qualified and care about employees. Corporate information flow from semior management to employees has improved.

    ConsProjects are often started but never finished, it is hard to find out who is accountable for what. The high level goals are more or less clear, but the path to get there is usually pretty vague and changing, which makes planning hard, as well as getting any commitment from stakeholders.
