They have no respect for there employees!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsUnlimited budget and good commission plan.

ConsTerrible management, that uses fear to motivate. The sales force is a rovolving door. I was on a team that didn't have one rep with 1 years experience with the company... Management has also been known to promote shady sales tactics even when illegal.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive reps more then 6 months to create growth, and support them without fear.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    unfair

Sales Representative (Current Employee) Jefferson City, MO

Prosmoney is good if you have any managed care coverage, freedom from mgt, if sales are going good, alot of money for dinner

Conspoor mgt, trying to get sales through gaining PA's through Dr., employee are not respected, turnover of sales force is built in

Advice to Senior ManagementGood move in changing CEO's, listen to your field sales people, gain formulary coverage in managed care, hold yourselves accountable

Stay away! Very shady business practices and horrible management.

    Pharmaceutical Sales (Current Employee)

ProsCompany car, good expense account. However, neither is worth working for this company. Some DM's seem alright, it just depends on who you get stuck working for.

ConsVery shady management, always scheming behind their worker's backs. They teach one thing in training, but managers want you to do the complete opposite of what you were taught. DM's are very young and inexperienced- just because they were good sales reps does not mean that they know how to manage a team! Weak products, that have poor formulary coverage.

Advice to Senior ManagementFix up the training program, and teach what managers actually want to see their sales reps do in the field. Stop promoting people just because they were good at their last role because being a good sales rep does not equate to being a good manager. The company isn't doing too great, so take a look around because it is obvious who is bringing the company down. Also, cost IS an issue! If company continues on the path they are on, they will not be around in a few years, but the company cares more about politics than hiring and promoting good workers so chances are this company is doomed.

    Burn and churn

    Sales Representative (Current Employee)

ProsThey have a great benefits package and you get the typical car, bonus can be made if you live in the right area.

ConsCommunication with the company is weak, managed care coverage is terrible, and expect to do 3-5 dinners per week in order to meet company expectations. 8am-8pm is standard, ideas on how to grow business change bi-weekly, and bonus structure is tough. Reps ranked at the top in trimester 1 were ranked at the bottom in trimester 2 which means no bonus.

Advice to Senior ManagementReally trying to be honest... this company doesn't look good on your resume if you want to stay in pharm but if you get the job and it pays the bills... Do it for a year (if you don't get fired) and move on.

    What a waste

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Paris (France)

ProsProcter & Gamble legacy is still alive in Europe, meaning very skilled and motviated employees with strong values.

ConsNo future in Europe, business is shut down.

Advice to Senior ManagementKilling a business is never a good option. Building the business in Europe would have created value for both shareholders and employees. You had very capable teams there.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
