    Pros

    If you make it here, you can make it anywhere. It is a real pharmaceutical job and they take people with no previous pharma experience.

    Cons

    High pressure management tactics, poor sales training, and scummy corporate culture. Not willing to invest in real sales training.

    Advice to Management

    Bring in some sales industry experts that can polish new hires with little or no experience do that they can hit the ground running with greater success.

    Pros

    Good drug to sell in the market place.

    Cons

    No support, comp was not great and never felt like they knew completely what was going on in the market.

    Quit being shady

    Pros

    The compensation scale for performance at WC was excellent.

    Cons

    Very little clinical focus or training. Very little focus on managed care coverage.

    Advice to Management

    The key to great success in pharma so often is guided not only by the quality of the product and the relationships developed by the representative, but also, in the current environment, by the ability of the physician to somewhat easily write the product and by the willingness of the patient to fill it.

    Pros

    If you increase market share you will get rewarded very nicely with their bonus structure they have in place. Salary is okay compared other companies. Great health benefits, company car, and free gas.

    Cons

    Depending on your manager if you don't perform quick you will most likely be gone within the first nine months if not sooner. Know for their high turnover because they get rid of people so quickly.

    Advice to Management

    Learn to communicate with other management. Different parts of the company were always against each other. If you would all come together you would probably accomplish a lot more.

    Pros

    Competitive salary and training for new sales reps.When market share grows quickly, there is good commission to be made.

    Cons

    Terrible Management, Shady Ethics, Poorly targeted DTC and marketing campaigns

    Advice to Management

    Take an ethical business training course and corporate responsibility. Do better research on marketing.

    Pros

    Great benefits, willing to give a chance to those wanting to break into industry, nearly unlimited expense budget.

    Cons

    District Managers are often less than 30 years old with little to no work or life experience. Unprofessional, unskilled at managing and bringing out the best in others - they manage with an iron club and have an arrogant condescending demeanor. They would most likely fail in any other management role at any other company or industry since their lack of professionalism is astounding. They usually have to skill set in management, they were at one time a sales rep with a few months of great performance and got promoted to manager, though they possess no management qualities.They endorse and encourage unethical sales practices. Leadership beyond DMs is also disappointing. Hands off, lack of communication, short-sighted. Awful training. Quality of overall sales force : abrasive, overly aggressive, loud, trashy, inarticulate, and education from less than impressive Universities.

    Advice to Management

    No advice...this place has been a bomb for quite a while.

    Great compensation for consistent high performers. Quick promotions

    No job security ever and inexperienced management

    Pros

    WC offers big bonus potential of up to $75k per year. This is one of highest potentials I'm aware of.

    Cons

    The management team (for most part) are not trained to be managers. More like babysitters. It's unfortunate. Most managers have zero skills on training and retaining people.
