    HIGH TURNOVER

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsCompany benefits before March 1st, 2014. That's about it for pros.

ConsToo many to name - management in Clinical Operations have a bad reputation. It can be seen as a result of their high turnover rate of their employees. Beware of management as they will use what they can and fire you just as fast as they hired you for any odd ball reason. If you see good ratings - be wary.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat people with respect and honor their achievements. What comes around goes around. Thank God I'm out of there.

This was a good company that went bad in the last few years before being acquired by Actavis.

    District Sales Manager (Former Employee)
    Miami, FL

ProsSmall company culture and excellent incentive compensation plan. Also, one of the few pharma companies that offered stock options and restricted shares as part of the incentive compensation plan.

ConsNo company support in negotiating with managed care for favored tier status of it's promoted products. Paranoia and fear based culture in the last year or two due to Dept. of Health investigations.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire a good lawyer.

They have no respect for there employees!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsUnlimited budget and good commission plan.

ConsTerrible management, that uses fear to motivate. The sales force is a rovolving door. I was on a team that didn't have one rep with 1 years experience with the company... Management has also been known to promote shady sales tactics even when illegal.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive reps more then 6 months to create growth, and support them without fear.

    Contractor's Experience with Warner Chilcott

    IT Contractor (Former Employee)
    Rockaway, NJ

ProsNothing I can of think of.

ConsOld mind setting in iT department in 21st Century. I would say very backward. Unprofessional IT department, No communications. Supervisor acts like fast food restaurant manager. Too many contractors with too much decision making.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire IT managers with the latest mindset. Not jokers.

Stay away! Very shady business practices and horrible management.

    Pharmaceutical Sales (Current Employee)

ProsCompany car, good expense account. However, neither is worth working for this company. Some DM's seem alright, it just depends on who you get stuck working for.

ConsVery shady management, always scheming behind their worker's backs. They teach one thing in training, but managers want you to do the complete opposite of what you were taught. DM's are very young and inexperienced- just because they were good sales reps does not mean that they know how to manage a team! Weak products, that have poor formulary coverage.

Advice to Senior ManagementFix up the training program, and teach what managers actually want to see their sales reps do in the field. Stop promoting people just because they were good at their last role because being a good sales rep does not equate to being a good manager. The company isn't doing too great, so take a look around because it is obvious who is bringing the company down. Also, cost IS an issue! If company continues on the path they are on, they will not be around in a few years, but the company cares more about politics than hiring and promoting good workers so chances are this company is doomed.

    Small company with cuthroat environment.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Rockaway, NJ

ProsIf you have little experience in the pharmaceutical industry, this might be a place to get your foot in the door and get some experience.

ConsSenior management creates an enviroment where employees are encouraged to turn on each other instead of working collaborately. Very little support for professional development. Sink or swim environment.

    Burn and churn

    Sales Representative (Current Employee)

ProsThey have a great benefits package and you get the typical car, bonus can be made if you live in the right area.

ConsCommunication with the company is weak, managed care coverage is terrible, and expect to do 3-5 dinners per week in order to meet company expectations. 8am-8pm is standard, ideas on how to grow business change bi-weekly, and bonus structure is tough. Reps ranked at the top in trimester 1 were ranked at the bottom in trimester 2 which means no bonus.

Advice to Senior ManagementReally trying to be honest... this company doesn't look good on your resume if you want to stay in pharm but if you get the job and it pays the bills... Do it for a year (if you don't get fired) and move on.
