    Pros

I had a great drug to sell and hit bonus every trimester. Great opportunity to make money, great benefits and vacation etc. Management is okay....

    Cons

I read on several boards before I took the job that they have the highest employee turnover in the industry but thought its just disgruntled employees, it couldn't possible be as bad as they say. I placed in the top 20% and hit bonus every trimester and still got layed off with one day notice right before Christmas along with a couple hundred other people. They require two dinners a week, no exceptions which was a little exhausting. When you work your butt off for a company you expect more respect than a one day notice (the day before payday, which means you don't get paid the next day because that will come a month later in your severence package...Merry Christmas!)

    Pros

It gives you a chance to work in pharma with little to no experiene needed. There is a great oppertunity to make great money, if you willing to put in some long hours.

    Cons

Un-realistic expectations, uncomfortable situations with doctors at dinner programs, micro managed, very unprofessional, stack ranked, lack of leadership, direction changes every trimester, I have yet to have 6 months in a row where I have been reporting into the same manager.... YOU have to QUALIFY to get the pay out you earn and its a moving target.

    Advice to Management

Work on developing and maintaining talent, would be nice to have a consistent message to promote in offices. As a sales rep, you talk to others in the division and no one will have the same idea as to whats going on, communication could use some work.

    Advice to Management

Be more forgiving when salespeople have a bad quota.
Hire more seasoned managers with industry experience.

    Pros

Nice office in the UK next to Brooklands race track.
Small company so you get to join the dots more easily if you want to (the UK company is about 50 people all in 1 open office area)

    Cons

Company was extremely money conscious (seemed a very cold company - interest in staff satisfaction seemed non-existent) and lots of people were contractors. There wasn't a very good atmosphere and people seemed down trodden. Staff turnover was high. I didn't look forward to work, feedback always seemed to be negative (as if management were deliberately trying to put staff down). Traffic to the UK office is extremely bad, I wouldn't accept a job unless flexitime was offered. Some aspects of the company seemed unpleasant - there were some concerns about drugs being priced low to increase market share and then prices jacked up once patients were dependent.

    Advice to Management

Give attention to staff satisfaction - have regular staff satisfaction surveys.
Conduct 360 reviews of managers - there was a lot of unreasonable pressure put on subordinates and senior managers seemed to not care.
Address any ethics concerns - have anonymous surveys to find out any concerns people have.

    Pros

Great way to get your foot in the door. Bonus payouts are high.

    Cons

Company is only concerned with growth. If you are not consistently growing the business, they fire you. I started in Oct. 2011, by Dec. 2012 only 1 person from my 12 person training class is left. They are happy to replace you. DMs often suggest questionable ethical/legal practices.

    Advice to Management

Take more pride in your employees. Don't get rid of someone just because they had one bad trimester. Appreciate the relationships your reps have built. Invest in training those who are struggling. Don't always blame the rep first...could it be the DM? Could it be a territory specific issue? Do you really think a $125 per person dinner is going to earn you the business? Don't punish reps for not meeting the ridiculous amount of "medical education" events. Perhaps those providers have families and would rather spend their time with them.

    Pros

Good way to break into pharmaceutical sales either right out of college or if you only have a few years of outside business sales.
Good bonus structure, based on forced ranking system but has a high potential.

    Cons

Very shady company. They really break not only pharma code but also ignore FDA policy. They bribe doctors and reps get in trouble if they don't.

They don't treat employees with any respect.
