I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

The hours are okay and benefits are the only thing that's good

    Cons

Please stay away the calls are a joke that comes over from customers service. It's quarterly bonus and you can loose your bonus last day of quarter. I have seen employees loose 4K the last day of quarter. The company pocket all this money. Hate working on weekends Sunday are a joke.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop lying and tell the truth that everybody doesn't bonus.

    Pros

    The friends you can make

    Cons

Everything about the company. Dog eat dog kind of environment. Try to get out of there before "Jump into January"

    Pros

Time off after three years is three weeks. Nice

    Cons

Ask for what you want in pay. My peers were making 10-15k more a year than me.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good hard working people who pride themselves on doing a good job and they deserve better.

    Cons

Lack of leadership (RAMP-Management) within the division or direction. It's like the decision makers have little to no clue about the mission or how to treat team members

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't take yourselves so seriously you really don't have a clue about the real world or how to manage.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I don't think there is even a pro, really. You can have a job with them and get paid. Basically it.

    Cons

For every little mistake you do, your manager will like you less and less. I wasn't being trained correctly and I really didn't feel like I was a part of this branch's "clique", which I didn't want to be a part of. They even made it known that I wasn't part of their clique. It was hard to try to keep up with responsibilities when they really didn't show an interest in helping you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say to stop pressuring people to make sales. It was awful having to resort to calling my parents to get a sale and my mom even said, "no".

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits! Wells fargo does have amazing benefits and gives employees a considerable amount PTO. Very large company so if transferring to another city or state depending on your position is possible.

    Cons

Wells fargo hardly ever promotes within. They look for other internal employees out of district or external candidates before they will hire within. Poor customer service experience, wells fargo forgets that as financial institution we should without a doubt show customers we value their business regardless of how much "profit" they bring us. Also, employees are expected to work hard and go above and beyond but pay raises and bonuses are very minimal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote within like promised. Hire managers that are actually qualified! Show employees more appreciation and offer better pay,

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great benefits. Pretty good salary.

    Cons

You have to be OK with looking the other way at unethical practices and sales techniques.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practice what you preach. We all discuss and sign documents in regards to honesty and selling with integrity. But management always seems to be OK with selling customers products they don't need. I would try to address issues of customers being mislead or flat out lied to and management never really cared. As long as you are hitting your numbers here, it doesn't matter how. No one talks about it but that is the culture here. Ask any Wells Fargo employee, it is difficult to hit your numbers while doing the right thing here. It can be done but the culture at Wells Fargo is to do it the easy way. The end result is all that matters here.
