I have been working at Wendy's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I was extremely hardworking which caused me to basically get anything I wanted like management and choosing hours. Very flexible with scheduling when your really great at what you do. Fantastic with my schooling and understanding.

    Cons

New people are pretty much grilled at my location until they quit and if they don't quit then they are extremely strong minded and normally pretty good workers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Everyone at my location made minimum wage (but me).. Which I had to wait two years for a raise which was when I became management. Pay would have been the only issue

I have been working at Wendy's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

It really depends on the people who work there that will make or break your experience. At my wendy's there are lazy managers and hard working managers...its difficult when you have a GM that is lazy and makes the rest of the shift supervisors do extra work. However, i love my team and we all have a great time working with each other, because we are all there and since we have to work, why not make it fun?

    Cons

customers can be rude, have to use the policy of the customer is always right, favoritism

    Not worth it

I have been working at Wendy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

50% discount (maybe a few free things if you have a decent manager), I can walk to work but that will not be true to everyone, you get paid.

    Cons

Pay is pretty bad, if you burn yourself, that is just too bad in management's eyes, somethings are gross back there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please consider trying to make this someplace people want to work, because at some point people will get fed up and leave leaving you stuck in the dust.

I have been working at Wendy's

    Pros

I worked with some interesting people. This company often hired recently paroled and handicapped individuals.

    Cons

Because of the location we often had employees who were not legal to work in the United States. Employees often leave and then return months later with a new social security number. You never know when you would come in and it would be a short handed day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to hire disabled but reconsider parolees because they often leave quickly
