    Pros

Keeping the customers smiling... Their repeat customers and I always hear how my smile and work ethics and attitude keeps them coming back.

    Cons

I work hard never late or call in and it's still not enough my boss keeps a mad look on her face... The employees are afraid to make the job a happy place to be. I'm a high spirited person I love to smile I enjoy making it a pleasant experience.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees their adults also leadership should not grant you the authority to talk down to them. If their not doing the job properly help and coach them. Negitive environment is a sure way to keep a lots of turnovers within the company.

    I worked at Wendy's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible with hours, easy work.

    Cons

Low pay, potato co-workers, soul crushing sense that you could easily be replaced by a trained monkey, disgusting customers, menial labor, being the lackey for a bunch of self important fast food workers.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to make workers feel less irrelevant. Seriously, you could run the place with a bunch of mentally handicapped teenagers, and in some cases do. Make it seem worthwhile to be working there so you don't lose talent.

    I have been working at Wendy's part-time

    Pros

The only good thing I could say about Wendy's is that it SHOULD be a great place to work for a teenager. A job that teaches team work, time management, responsibility, and self confidence.

    Cons

The cons for working at the Wendy's in Chesterfield, SC are poorly trained employees and managers. What sense would it make to have new employee 1 train new employee 2 when 1 has not been properly train themselves? How does an employee get trained when the are scheduled weekend night shift? As a teenager and available to work nearly any time during the summer, management does not utilize it. Management is aware of the untrained employees and has not made any efforts to correct the lack of training. Some manager(s) also need to work on how to manage under pressure.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be learn how to lead. A leader how to know how to deal with pressure and not snap at employees. Train all employees on everything from the front door to the back door and every thing in between. It may surprise you who will work when trained properly.

    I have been working at Wendy's part-time

    Pros

You get to work with some nice people, but most of them are too immature. 50% off Wendy's meals.

    Cons

You typically work nearly 9 hrs with no break unless you are a smoker and then oyu can get a smoke break. When you do get breaks they are only 30 minutes. The employee meals have a $6-7 limit, and if someone doesn't want a sandwich that has already been made, they want you to throw it away instead of giving it to one of the employees.

    Advice to Management

Start caring about your employees well being and show them some respect. If you want your employees to work hard maybe you should to, instead of sitting in the office all day.
