I have been working at Wendy's full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I enjoy meeting new customers and training new employees.

    Cons

The company is greedy to the point they cannot staff their restaurants with managers. The cause is underpaying, salary are working 60+ weekly, only medical is offered, and on major holidays when we are closed that's our second day off. They are known not to give managers raises and they have no incentive programs to promote from within. They hire outside of the company because the crew realize it's not a good company for a career option.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The issue is all your managers are unhappy of our treatment of being overworked, lack of benefits, and trying to serve the guest with limited crew will equal more unhappy guest and crew will quit constantly.

I have been working at Wendy's

    Pros

Some of the jobs have some really great co workers. But a horrible place to work not many pros whatsoever in this partial excuse of a work place. Overall a horrible job.

    Cons

No lunch breaks, hounds hard workers. Etc. Most of the employees including the managers will disobey the rules and do as they please.

    I worked at Wendy's full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Managers with my franchise owner get a free meal every day worked. Never had time to actually eat it, but it was a nice thought.

    Cons

Long hours. Once you're salary, they say it's a fifty hour work week. Add 5 to 10 hours a week to that if you're closing. Was promised a meager raise and I gave up after waiting for it to go into effect for two months. There's little to no time for any breaks during the 10+ hour shift. You end up smelling like old fryer grease even after a shower.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better with managers in your stores. My DM had a habit of having telling other store level managers to pass on bad news because he was afraid of delivering itself. It might be a pretty sweet gig for a district level manager. Those guys seemed to have lots of free time and weekends off/never answered their phone or responded to text messages or emails.

    Pros

There is nothing good about working for Wendy's.

    Cons

No bonuses, no good hours, no paid leave for injuries.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Wendy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Higher than minimum wage starting

    Cons

    Management
    Unprofessionalism
    Manipulating
They'll tell you anything to get you in, you will be quickly
    under appreciated
Everyone is part time so corporate avoids giving benefits
Although your paperwork specifically states management will find replacements it will be up to you even if you're sick.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reevaluate your harassment policy. Take concerns seriously and know when managers at a store are mixing personal and professional life leading to treating the rest of the employees unfairly.

I have been working at Wendy's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Was originally given lots of hours and the hours that fit my schedule. It's a good looking store and there are some really nice people to work with.

    Cons

Managers will breathe down your neck and yell about everything. Never hear about raises. They hire too many people so everyone ends up getting 20 hours instead of what they needed
