Very nice people with very low turnover.

Accountant Intern (Current Employee) Federal Way, WA

ProsEveryone that works at corporate HQ is very nice. There are lots people who have been working there for 20+ years. I work with someone who has been there over 30 years. So many old timers mean they value their employees. They also still have a pension plan!

ConsI have not experienced any yet. However I have not been there long.

Overall this was a good experience working for Weyerhaeuser.

    Manager (Former Employee)

ProsA lot of good people work here. Unfortunately a lot were also lost when they did a corporate downsizing in 2010.

ConsManagement will force business changes down from the top without imput from the rank and file on how it will impact their business.
Management feels no other competitor can offer what they do but your customers know better than that.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees concerns when they question radical changes. You won't have to back peddle when you find out you forced changes through from the top that didn't work.
