I worked at Whole Foods Market part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

-Great pay. Recently they changed their minimum hiring rate to $11 so that is good news!!
-Might just depend on store but the team I worked with was awesome! About half the people on my team were around my age (22), so it was enjoyable!

    Cons

-Meetings, early in the morning, once a month or so. Usually around an hour and a half. I was on a final warning for other things, and I missed a meeting and got fired.
-I was put for the closing shift very often, and rarely got to open. Opening is enjoyable for me and other people because it usually seems to go by faster, and also you get the rest of your day.

    Pros

Training in all areas of the store. Open door policy on sales of store and company. Ability to learn about healthy living through organic and non-GMO foods.

    Cons

Limited chances for advancement because team member turnover rate is very low. Great for company, but hard for team member to move up unless willing to transfer stores or regions.
