Willis Re was unorganized and lacked direction and personal feedback.

Treaty Analyst (Current Employee)

I have been working at Willis Re full-time for more than a year

ProsWillis was pretty flexible with working hours and allowed employees to work from home often. Willis is small and has much potential for growth.

ConsWillis employees lacked basic organizational skills. Projects were started and abandoned at random, meetings were long and meandering, clients were frustrated with unclear communication and constant lateness. Employees who felt underpaid abused expense accounts and the lack of diversity in this all boys club is pretty astounding.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive better feedback and take more time to train underperforming employees rather than letting them ride of the backs of others.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

No value of employee

Assistant Vice President (Current Employee)

I have been working at Willis Re full-time for more than 10 years

ProsEnjoy the job and the required skills

ConsHorrible Benefits - Large Health deductible plus 20% Co-Par above
No compensation transparency - Best way to get a raise is to be perceived to be at risk for leaving company, forget loyalty and length of employment

Advice to Senior ManagementOpen your eyes to your current employees and promote loyalty and success from within.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
